Nicole "Nikki" Hayes
Description : Nicole”Nikki” Hayes was born and raised on Chicago’s south side. She attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her continuous education in the Labor field, local, state and national levels have been intensely rewarding. She is committed to keeping our nation safe and expanding the opportunity for every American in the field of Labor and Unions. Nicole is a Business Agent/Recording Secretary with the Laborers’ Local 1001 Union under the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LiUNA), a 15 year member. She serves and holds offices on multiple committees. Vice-President of Fund raising for the Parent Teacher Organization, Service Officer for the Chicago Urban League, Jack and Jill Incorporated the Financial Secretary and LiUNA Women’s Caucus. Before becoming actively involved with the Local 1001 Nicole served 15 years with the City of Chicago running the abandoned auto program in the Department of Streets and Sanitation. Her goal is to sustain women and minorities within Unions and increase their involvement. Nicole lives with her husband Marc Hayes and three children Shaun, Kennedy and Lincoln. Her motto for life is “If we prosper, we will progress and peace will come”

Nikki, I am not going to tell you that all you have accomplished don't make me proud, it does, but the day you learned you say your ABC's instead of singing them, I was so proud of you. I can still say proud but not surprise.
