Kate O'Malley is President and Founder of K.O. Strategies LLC, which provides strategic consulting, advocacy and issues management services to companies and non-profit organizations, building on her work over the past 20 years in law, government, advocacy and business (www.kostrategies.com). She is an attorney, former Managing Director at Wilhelm & Conlon Public Strategies, and former Legislative Assistant for U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer. Kate received the prestigious Skadden Arps Public Interest Law Fellowship, where she represented low-income Latinas on domestic violence and family law issues. She served as the elected representative of IWIL’s Class of 2002 to the Board of Directors. Kate is Founder and Past President of “Connections,” a 600+ group at Old St. Patrick's Church that provides monthly programs and volunteer opportunities for people in their 30’s and over. Kate admires Senator Paul Simon for his integrity and commitment to public service, and is grateful to have been able to meet him through IWIL. |
