In 1999, Robyn was elected to represent the customer service employees at ORD on behalf of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers as their grievance committee person. She is currently serving her second term, in which she ran unopposed. She is active at her local lodge serving on many committees, including chairing the legislative committee. She is the newly elected Vice President At-Large for District 141. She also has been politically active in fundraising and campaigning for Democratic candidates, including Al Gore, Rod Blagojevich and several others on behalf of Friends and Family. She was selected to serve on a committee by Speaker Michael J. Madigan. |
