Karen Nystrom was elected to serve a four-year term as a Northfield Township Trustee in 2004. In addition, she works as a legislative aide to State Representative Elaine Nekritz, and as Executive Director of the Northfield Township Democrats. The former Chief Professional Officer of North Suburban United Way, Karen currently sits on the Executive Board of Directors. A member of the Illinois Democratic Women, Karen lives in Northbrook with her husband and two daughters and dog, Lucky. |
