Beth was elected, in 2006, to be the State Central Committeewoman for the 14th Congressional District. She is the Governor's Intergovernmental Affairs Liaison for the Collar Counties and the Northern Illinois Region -- formerly serving as the Administration's Chief Legislative Liasion for the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Children and Family Services. Beth earned a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Northern Illinois University and has also worked as an assistant village manager and public interest leader/organizer. For the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus, she managed a national award winning campaign partnership designed to safeguard economic development interests while improving air quality and public health. Donating time to numerous organizations, select honors include: the Illinois Environmental Council's Environmental Service Award, Kane County Democrats Chairman's Award and induction to Pi Alpha Alpha - a national honorary society for public affairs and administration. |
