Christina L. Rogers works for the office of U.S. Senator Richard J.Durbin in Springfield. She formerly worked for the McLean County Community Compact, University of Illinois Extension in Bloomington. She earned a B.S. in Politics and Government from Illinois State University in 2003 and received numerous honors, including: National Dean's List, Golden Key Honor Society, and National Society of Collegiate Scholars among others. She serves as Precinct Committeeman and volunteers for the McLean County Democrat Party and is a member of a fundraising committee for a congressional candidate. She belongs to the McLean County Chamber of Commerce Women's Division, an organization that assists women with individual and professional development. She is also active in the League of Women Voters, serving as its director from 2001 to 2003 and the McLean Co. Voice for Choice. She also belongs to the Multiple Sclerosis Society serving as the chair of the McLean Co. Walk. She received the Eleanor Roosevelt award from the Illinois Democratic Women in 2001, which is awarded to a non-elected official for grassroots activity. |
