Asra Husain lives in the DuPage County section of Bartlett and has been actively involved in state and federal government and the political process for the past seven years. Ms. Husain was an active participant in the College Democrats at Loyola University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Political Science and International Studies. Later, Ms. Husain participated in the Campaign 101/102 Training Seminar given by the Democratic National Committee and is currently employed in the Evanston office of Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky.
In 2004, Ms. Husain also volunteered with the Democratic National Convention Finance Committee in Boston, Massachusetts. Ms. Husain is working on her master’s degree at Loyola University, where she is expected to graduate in May 2005 with a Master of Arts in Political Science, with a concentration on international relations and comparative politics |
