Michelle Feldman grew up in Chicago and currently lives in Deerfield with her husband, and daughter. She has Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business and 25 years experience working in Human Resources at companies such as Ameritech, Amoco, and Baxter. Michelle has worked 5 years as a political and legislative aide for State Representative Karen May. While Michelle was an IWIL delegate she won the April 2005 election for Deerfield Village Trustee. Michelle has put her hat in the ring for seats on the Lake County Board and Lake County Forest Preserve. She is running unopposed in the November 2008 election.
Michelle is a precinct committeewoman, voter registrar, and campaigner for local democratic candidates. Michelle served on the Blue Ribbon Panel for Affordable Housing for the 58th District and is an active member in PROUDD, a community based parent committee fighting underage drinking. Michelle also works part-time focusing on getting insurance companies to appropriately pay hospitals for patient's medical bills. |
